The R0 number
The R0 number or the reproduction rate for coronavirus is around 2 and 2.6. This is higher than the seasonal flu which has a reproduction rate of 1. Furthermore, one person who catches the seasonal flu spread it to one person on average which is smaller than the rate for coronavirus. It is blatant that COVID-19 is more infections that the seasonal flu, having a R0 twice as big, the same going for the fatality rate. For instance, on the 24th March, out of all the cases that had an outcome, the fatality rate is 14% which hundreds of times larger than the death rate of the seasonal flu, it being 0,1%.
One site that I have been looking over on a daily basis is the Coronavirus Graph where I can find a plethora of articles on this topic and may find the new cases that appear in each country. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries
